Greetings to everyone. I hope you are enjoying a beautiful autumn. The aspen here in Colorado are a stunning gold, and my vegetable garden is winding down, after a plentiful harvest. I am looking forward to the upcoming winter holidays, and hope you'll consider treating someone special this season with a gift of my art. It's reasonably priced, truly unique, lasts forever, and is easy to send anywhere. As a special BONUS, every order sent until December 31, 2008 includes a FREE polar bear greeting card. Prints may be sent directly to recipients (please order gifts to each address separately) and I am happy to hand-write a greeting in the holiday card for your recipient.
For newcomers-- Welcome to my website, where you can view my portfolio and buy high-quality art prints online. I am a wildlife biologist, writer, and artist with a studio in the gorgeous foothills of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. In my career I have had the great pleasure to work with a variety of animal species, including sea turtles, birds of prey, pronghorn, snakes, lizards, shore and sea birds, and seals. My first degree is in Fine Art from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia. Prior to obtaining a wildlife degree, I worked in the advertising industry as an art director.
Knowing as much as you can about my paintings is important to me. Clicking on any print's name (underlined link) once you are in a certain category will bring up a detailed view of the painting, as well as print and image dimensions. If you have any questions, or need a larger photo emailed to you, feel free to email me directly:zinniasandsun@aol.com.

The photo above is from my trip to the Galapagos Islands this summer. Here, a little lava lizard is perched atop a marine iguana's head. These two were seen on the island of Fernandina. |
